Four programs have the attention of Ezekiel Marcelin right now. He just recently visited Stanford and that trip left a strong impression on him. Marcelin was able to meet Andrew Luck and some other former players. They emphasized what Stanford can do for him on and off the field. He is looking at take an official visit to Stanford on June 21.

Marcelin has set up official visits to Miami on May 31, Pittsburgh on June 7 and Penn State on June 14. His cousin Jeremiah Marcelin signed with Pittsburgh as part of the 2024 class and they’ve been talking about the program a lot. Marcelin is also staying in touch with the Pittsburgh coaches.

Penn State has impressed Marcelin and his family during his recent visits. He is also close with Penn State quarterback commit and current teammate Bekkem Kritza. Miami is in touch with Marcelin every day and he wasn’t shy about calling the Hurricanes one of his top programs. Look for Marcelin to announce a commitment at some point after his official visits.

Why is Penn State lagging behind in women's wrestling?

This was the topic that kept coming up over this past weekend. We were treated to outstanding women's wrestling (which has been the case for at least 6 years, honestly, at Final X and OTT). We hear that Audrey Jimenez, the high schooler 50kg finalist, is going to wrestle at Lehigh this fall. Women's wrestling is the fastest growing sport in the USA.

And we sit there wondering why PSU doesn't have a program and there seems to be nothing on the horizon. Isn't it way past time that Penn State gets its act together on this one and consolidate its position as the center of the wrestling universe in the USA? Why does it sit there watching the bus leave the station?

OT - Car Talk...

Just was noticing that Toyota has revamped it's SUV lineup:

The levels appear to be:

2025 4runner starting at 43k

2025 Land Cruiser starting at 56k

2024 GX starting at $64k (although like the LX I imagine this is nearly impossible to get hands on)

I believe all are on the same platform and have different price levels.

Personally I'd go for the Land Cruiser. Not sure if it's limited at all (besides the special edition)

Any good competitors to these?

Judge orders FSU/ ACC to mediation….

Nothing really shocking about that. The process will take up to 4 months and could end up back in court if the 2 sides don’t come to an agreement. A few interesting nuggets from the article-

-The article states FSU could potentially be heading to the Big Ten. Interesting it doesn’t say Big Ten or SEC. Given ESPN’s behind the scenes efforts to reorganize conferences, just thought that was an interesting omission.

- The ACC is fighting to keep its contract with ESPN secret. FSU wants open transparency on the details with the documents unsealed.

-No mention of how Clemson would fit into all of this with their recent lawsuit in South Carolina against the ACC. Could there be competing judges with different rulings?
