AWL Discussion Thread

JO gets a bad rap because of his Twitter fingers these days, but it is all show. Didn't he defend Logan Stieber on Twitter after he lost to him on that controversial "non" takedown? Calling these guys names on message boards is a bad look. The AWL was an exhibition for the fans that amounts to nothing in the grand scheme of things. I'll go out on a limb and say both guys will be different wrestlers when they are actually wrestling for something.

Agree that JO handled the screw job he got in the match against Stieber with great class. BTW -- he is undefeated against Stieber ever since.

BTW, JO also regulatory praises all his opponents on Twitter after they compete (including International opponents). He did so with Plain Zain last week.

I assure you the extra $5K meant something to both guys.

I agree that the next time they face each other, circumstances will be quite different. JO will have his wind, but will be facing a much tougher weight cut. Unclear how that will affect these guys---but most seem to believe it will favor PZ. And Plain Zain will have more time to enhance his Freestyle game.

But as things stand right now, JO>PZ.

pretty sure JO handled Logan earlier in that year in a meet or tourney.
