Schedules were still changing yesterday, so be wary . . . but here is what seems to be on the docket this week for coverage on the ESPN and BTN networks. [**TV bracketed by asterisks**, PSU bolded.] I’m including next week’s Monday holiday in this week’s lisitngs.

Wednesday
- CSUB vs ISU (8pm) [ESPN+]

Thursday
- AppSt vs Duke (7pm) [ACCNX/ESPN+]

Friday
- Bucknell vs Harvard (6pm) [ESPN+]

Saturday
- Bucknell vs Brown (12:05pm) [ESPN+]

- SHU vs Harvard (3pm) [ESPN+]

Sunday
- Columbia vs OkSt (11am) [ESPN+]
- **OkSt vs WVU (1pm) [ESPNU]**

- **Iowa vs Illinois (4pm) [BTN]**
- **Rutger vs PSU (5pm) [ESPNU]**

Monday
- **MSU vs Indiana (3:30 PM) [BTN]**

There are some inconsistencies between school website listings, app listings, and network listings for the Okie St - Columbia - WVU Tri, but I think I made correct interpretations above.

Good news: 6 televised duals!

Bad news: ESPNU will be trying to squeeze in a womens basketball game between the OkSt/WVU dual and Rutger/PSU dual on Sunday. Put your insurance companies on speed dial. 😉

Lil’ bump — CSUB vs ISU starting now.

Cyclones’ Bastida (197) is a fun guy to watch.

EDIT: Jimminy Cricket — Watch ESPN app is now saying the dual isn’t available until 11 pm. I’ve never seen that before. 🤨

Update: Now it is working. Starting at 125.

ISU wins 44-0. Another nail biter. It gets much tougher when they go against Montana State Northern and Providence Montana next week :)
Also: Yonger Bastida @ 197 is no fluke. Big guy. That said David Carr carried Bastida out of the arena after Bastida's match.....and was practically running. Most impressive part of the dual :)

Oh how far they have fallen. Someone needs to get in there and turn that program around. Lol

Iowa State beat Northwest Kansas Technical college 56-0 last week. Lookout!

They've fallen a long way but it wasn't that long ago that Bako State was a decent program.

Not Iowa State's fault ASU had Covid issues and had to cancel the January 9th dual. Just happy we were able to get another dual on the schedule.

Yeah, my initial draft introductory line was “some interesting Top 20 matches”.

When I got to 197, I said to myself, “Please don’t let Northwestern have a guy ranked in the Top 20 — no way Warnerov can be on an ‘interesting’ list.” But then I got to 285 and Gable vs Lance . . . deleting “interesting” became necessary after all.

Sasso and Cole Mattin currently tied 5-5.

Suriano solid in all positions with a MD over Heinselman

It's actually Sasso 5-4 midway thru the 2nd.

First period ended 3-3 after T2 + R2 were reversed.

Pitt just defeated Arizona State with 3 Pins and a Stall Out. They lead by 8 going to Heavyweight. Opps....1 pt. team deduction. Up by 9. Final score will be 24-20 It was 16-6 going to 174. Wow

Schultz back for ASU, majored Slinger.

That Valencia-Wentzel match was painful to watch. Valencia tried to tap out over Wentzel riding with his arm across his throat, but he was clearly fine when ref stopped the action. Wentzel seemed pretty pissed and proceeded to rid every aggressively. Match was close until a review gave Valencia a nice break -- he suddenly had a ton of energy for a quick TD to seal it.

TL;DR: Valencia match.

I like Schriever, but not sure about that right now. Got handled by Foley and lost to wrestlestat #40
Forget Wrestlestat rankings. Palmer is 21 on Intermat, so he's pretty good -- though that's an opponent you need to beat to make the podium.

I think he'll be good too -- eventually. Podium this year is asking a lot.
