Yeah, that'll teach me to half pay attention to the match and get the result off Iowa Tweeter. Not Deakin. Trevor Chumbley.

This guy?Not Deakin. Trevor Chumbley.
Brooks and kerk better be ready. Too close to call..Michigan has a nice team. They are going to be tough.
Do they have any shirts to pull at 157?put a fork in the hawks.
It will come down to Brooks imo.Brooks and verk better be ready. Too close to call..
Amine and Parris better be readyBrooks and verk better be ready. Too close to call..
Yeah. It’s a dumb rule. The action never stoppedI was in and out if the room but it sounds like they took away Sasso's TD and therefore Mattin's reversal aswell. So 3-3 score
What’s going on in Columbus?
Very solid team, with four finalist contenders (Jersey Kid, Micic, Big Amine, Parris). Jersey Kid looked very fit back down at 125.Michigan has a nice team. They are going to be tough.
Micic will not be a finalist.Very solid team, with four finalist contenders (Jersey Kid, Micic, Big Amine, Parris). Jersey Kid looked very fit back down at 125.
Yeah Jersey Boy looked good (especially his conditioning).Very solid team, with four finalist contenders (Jersey Kid, Micic, Big Amine, Parris). Jersey Kid looked very fit back down at 125.
Actually I liked the Ohio state better than amineIt will come down to Brooks imo.
AgreedMicic will not be a finalist.
Until Micic shows us he's the same wrestler up at 141, I would only consider him an AA contender.Agreed
Sometimes weight loss can be bad for performance? I’ll let my doctor know 😂Whoa -- Davison locking up a spladle on Cassioppi, and ref stops it for PD.
EDIT: And they award Davison a TD off it, but no backs. Brutal. Cass went on to win 7-3.
No, no, no. By next week Don and birdie iron will have it worked out with 5 in the finals and 5 in the placement matches and 160 points secured before Saturday night.put a fork in the hawks.

Crazy thing is. Even without Lee and Desanto we still have 10 legit AA contenders. And we may need something like that to win.

I'm not saying Iowa is going to win it, but I wouldn't count them out. Plus Michigan will be tough in Detroit and will take points away from PSU.
I need to see video from another angle. I was there and it looked like Cass wanted to tap out. Davison had time on his side and Cass was going over, but slowly. Couldn’t see any joints in danger or any choke (ironically).Whoa -- Davison locking up a spladle on Cassioppi, and ref stops it for PD.

I think an argument can be made that there's a great chance that Penn State's big 4 all don't repeat as champs as well. I'd say RBY and maybe Brooks. A healthy and dialed in Eierman beats Lee, Amine can most definitely beat Brooks, and the way Kem is wrestling can major Starocci. I'm not saying Iowa is going to win it, but I wouldn't count them out. Plus Michigan will be tough in Detroit and will take points away from PSU.
They’re killin’ me Whitey! They’re killin’ me! I don’t know how @johnstownsteel lurks over there for so long

Remember the brain behind the logic that first thought through that and then wrote it.So Michigan will take points away from PSU, but not Iowa. How does that work??
He’s forgetting that Cael’s teams always get the most advantageous paths in the bracketsSo Michigan will take points away from PSU, but not Iowa. How does that work??
I said finalist contender. Micic is currently ranked #4 and is very skilled. While the odds may be against it, if he stays healthy, I think Micic getting to the finals would only be a mild surprise; certainly not a huge reach.Micic will not be a finalist.
Barring injury, I would be VERY surprised if Micic didn't AA. I think AA is almost a sure thing if he stays healthy.Until Micic shows us he's the same wrestler up at 141, I would only consider him an AA contender.
This just furthering the HR theory that wrestling with one arm or leg (whether an RBY strategic decision or a Robles situation) is a distinct advantage.Problem: lost to Starocci with 2 good arms.
Solution: mummify one arm.
