I agree. I was also encouraged by Dvon Ellies. I thought he was solid ande we’re gonna need someone else besides Mustipher to step up at DT.
That is of no surprise. Indiana is way overrated. Glad to see them finding out who they are.
Franklin win a huge game today…despite the O woes…team was ready to play a s resilient. Huge, gutsy win!
I think some of the problems were directly due to trying to go right at Wisky’s front seven in the first half.
We missed some chances for really big plays off of deep throws. Wisconsin still covers like they did in the 2016 championship game.
Ebiketue had more production today than Oweh had all last year…he played brilliantly and with purpose.
I think Wisconsin has a really good defense. Might have been great that we were on the road (77 at home, against 95 plays could have worn us down).
Wisconsin and Iowa likely determine the West.
Buckeyes defense has holes, but the offense could be bulletproof inside the conference.
UM as in Minnesota? Michigan played a directional school today, let’s not get ahead of that train wreck.

According to Wisconsin we were the 4th toughest game on their schedule, so.
Cheating b1g bullshit call. It wasn't a "close call" - the Wisonsin QB is not "protected" when he turns himself into a RB. Only "Targetting Penalty" that can possibly be called there is "Spearing" (intentionally using crown of helmet to strike opponent) - you cannot call "Spearring" when the intended, AND ACTUAL, first contact is NOT with the crown of the helmet. Brooks clearly intended to, AND DID, make first contact with Wisconsin runner with his shoulder... and contacted into Wisconsin runner's shoulder despite the Wisconsin player LOWERING HIS HEAD AND LEVEL! After the first contact, Brooks stands the Wisconsin player up (stops him dead - which had to do to prevent 1st down) - as he stands him up, and clearly after 1st contact, the players come face-to-face with their helmets contacting each other primarily Brooks facemask to the front right side of Wisconsin runner's helmet. Again, this is considered incidental contact if it results AFTER first contact. You cannot be called for 'Spearring" if your clear intent, AND ACTUAL, first contact is with your SHOULDER and not the crown of your helmet. You can't "intentionally" INITIATE CONTACT WITH THE CROWN OF YOUR HELMET if you FACTUALLY AND IN REALITY "initiated contact" with your shoulder!!!!
The thing about Brisker is that even without the game changing plays, the fact that he was even in the game considering his battle with the injuries/ cramps demonstrates heart and leadership.
Just an enjoyable win for the good guys.

Great experience for Wilson, King and other newbies....for PSU. I thought that Sutherland brought it this week and the punt coveage was outstanding....outside of the BS...1 yard zone interference calls........

That was only one of two in that game….both were worse than Ellis….the other for OSU was called on the field but overturned.
Damn, Franklin should have run harder on his carries.
There is no 1 yard zone anymore, those were both bogus calls and great plays.

I give the O credit too. They did enough to put 20 points on the board in the second half. That’s a good showing in game 1 on the road at Camp Randall.
We’ll hope for better in the future, but they bounced back in the second half.

Come on, we’re supposed to score 50+ in every game regardless of who or where we’re playing. It took the team a game and half before they started functioning on offense when Moorehead started, but we saw improvement after only a half with this new OC.
