CJF showing his hops.... LMAO, that's awesome.
I was calling him the backfoot bandit this game. 50% of his throws were from his backfoot.Clifford was 18-33 for 247 yards
1 TD, 0 INT
He rushes thing when under pressure which is difficult to watch. That said, he definitely deserves a participation trophy.
Sounds like the episode of MASH and they were trying to fight the Army red tape to get an IncubatorFor referee complaints, fill out forms 23B and 12A in triplicate and submit to special consultants Alvarez and Witovet.
Pretty sure he used it but kind of caught himself mid f...ers.Wasn’t the last game at Madison when our guys were 24 point underdogs and won? I remember BOB’s locker room speech after that - you could tell he had saltier language to use but knew the camera was running.![]()
I'm certainly hoping the offense gets it together. It certainly helps if the D keeps this performance rolling.
Clifford and the O line don't even deserve participation trophies for today's performance.
Piss off they won the game and got it dine when they had too. Enjoy the victory when so many times they have given it away at the end. They will improve.I'm certainly hoping the offense gets it together. It certainly helps if the D keeps this performance rolling.

I wish I could like this post 1000 times, spot on.They actually weren't "similar" - the b1g Cheaters called no penalty (or Targetting Review) on a CLEARLY ILLEGAL hit on a "Protected Minnesota Player" (act of catching the ball) that knocked the Minny player unconscious! While creating a "Review" and Penalty at the request of Wisconsin on a LEGAL HIT against an "Unprotected" (under the rule) Wisconsin Player! Since the Wisconsin player was not "Protected" under the rule, the only "Targetting Penalty" that can be called in that situation is "Spearing" (intentionally using crown of helmet as weapon) - it is impossible to have "Spearing" if the Crown of the helmet isn't used to make first contact! The PSU defender CLEARLY makes "shoulder-to-shoulder" contact as first contact and his head bounces upward and he makes "incidental contact" with Wisconsin player's helmet with the front of his helmet - primarily his facemask. That hit was not "Spearing" (i.e., intentionally using the crown of your helmet) and anyone who says it was doesn't know squat about the rules (which includes the b1g cheaters!). You can't have Spearing when the intended, AND ACTUAL, first contact isn't with the crown of your helmet!!!
And Wisconsin called a time out in hope they would review it.The main issue with the call I have is that the officials didn’t call it. The Wisky sideline and fans called it. Plus Metz went down on a knee and provided some theatrics to get the review and call. If he was so roughed up, why was Chryst putting a kid with a possible concussion back in the game?
Muted.. Listen to Ham and Jones.Someone mop up the broadcasting booth. These two are making a mess all over the place.
**** the Ruccis - those jabronis are 0-1. Penn State fans at the Rucci
This game will haunt them all season. They were favored and in position to win and blew it. Where does their season go now? Their confidence must be shot. It’s devastating. Their fans will be crying in their curds all season long about the one that got away.In the last 26 Wisconsin home opening games their record is now 25 wins and 1 loss.
Tried the tight end at least two times that I can remember. Thought both times in the red zone. Could be wrong though. Agreed on offensive line. Just can’t seem to move anyone off the ball.I noticed that we did not use the Tight End, which was very disappointing. Does Yurcich not use the tight end in his game plans? The offensive line is still a disaster. Clifford did show that he can air the ball out when he has time to throw.
Brisker got a little vertical for that one.
Hell, not the annual checkup. I just passed the first game test since open heart surgery.Hey Boys, I know it's not over yet. But no use going to the cardiologist. Our hearts just passed our annual checkup!!!!
Sounds like the episode of MASH and they were trying to fight the Army red tape to get an Incubator
WTF! We all see that the plays are outside!
Mustopher was great today.
Muted.. Listen to Ham and Jones.
Unfortunately Shaun Wade graduated, so you may be rightShout out to strength and conditioning. Ninety-five plays on defense and only 10 points given up. No evidence of being tired. What a clinic!
The second half offense is encouraging but I don’t think Dotson will be allowed to run anywhere near as free against our remaining big time opponents.
Home field callI thought it was a close call, even on replay. Helmets definitely hit but Brooks initiated contact with his shoulder.
I think the penalty was called because the hit was so violent. I can understand if the official got caught up with the impact and made the call, but the penalty was called on replay where emotion shouldn't be a factor.
Two different halves, working the perimeters better in the second half. Wisconsin's front was tough against the run.
It was a beautiful win! What a defense. What a win.
An ugly win but who cares. First game on the road against Wisconsin is always going to be tough. Proud of the D.
My favorite clip besides the one of Jack Lambert throwing Cliff Harris down in Super Bowl XJUST WIN BABY!

Yeah - too bad that was not Brandon Smith delivering the blow…the Cheeseheads would be calling ND to send that stiff Coan back!If they're gonna throw you out of the game anyway, take the QB with you.
Horrible play call…if Cain drops it, then Wisconsin would have a timeout to work with…nothing we have not seen before. Why is PSU throwing the ball ?
“Some”?Some questions were answered today. Ebiketie is as good or possibly better than expected.
Tangelo is legit. Tarburton has good instincts. Brooks was playing well below his ceiling last season.
Brisker is as good as advertised.
Cain is able. Dotson is in the same category as Hamler. Our OL and QB need some work.
Agreed…as good an effort as you will see…superlative…could have easily quit.Shout out to strength and conditioning. Ninety-five plays on defense and only 10 points given up. No evidence of being tired. What a clinic!

Seated right next the the super-incompetent Warren!I wonder how much pull alverez had in scheduling that game to give the badgers a leg up in the polls with a win.
And remember, Wisconsin receives to start the 2nd half. More pressure on our defense. One first down?…Oy!
Our poor D guys can only hang on for another quarter before they start breaking down.
Come on O at least give the D a real rest.
I said that several times. Reason hevwasn'tbaccurate. That tells me he is uneasy under pressure. This is his M.O. At this point in his career, itbisca bad habit he isn't kicking.I was calling him the backfoot bandit this game. 50% of his throws were from his backfoot.
Kid’s looking small. Time for Wisky to do what they do best - pump that kid full of HGH, Dianobol and cheese curdsI turned my back on PSU and all I got was the douchy haircut.
