Harbaugh’s tattoo

Was thinking ‘Cheater’ would’ve been a better tattoo. Any other suggestions?

——————————————
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Jim Harbaugh returned to Michigan on Saturday. To collect his championship rings and to make good on his promise to add some championship ink.

Before Michigan's spring game, Harbaugh got a "15-0" tattoo under a block M on his right arm, commemorating the Wolverines' undefeated record on the way to the school's national title.

Yankees will face Trevor Bauer this week

as he pitches an exhibition game for a Mexican team facing the Yankees.

For anyone not paying attention, Bauer was accused by a woman of sexual abuse and assault three years ago and was kicked off the Dodgers and out of MLB. he eventually beat her in court (they settled with no money changing hands) and the LA prosecutor decided not to file criminal charges. Bauer is a loon who has gotten into trouble a lot of times but all were much less than these assault charges. Even though, no MBL team seems to want to take a chance on him. Oh, he also was one of the best pitchers in Japan last year. In 19 games for Yokohama, he registered a 10–4 record and 2.76 ERA with 130 strikeouts.

Should be fun to watch.

TCM Movie Marathon

I happen to be in LA today for a wedding. By happenstance, TCM is having a movie marathon, which they do every year. Last night they showed Pulp Fiction and John Travolta showed up (I wasn't there as I was in transit). But they have this every year across from Grauman's Chinese Theater. They utilize this theater plus many in the area; even the hotel pool. The tickets are only $20 for the entire weekend. They also have VIP tickets that include food and meet/greets. There are signs everywhere saying you may be filmed as they show it on TCM.

Jodie Foster is putting her hands in Cement as I type this but I have a conference call I can't miss. My wife is there.

This is really cool. I was thinking about @Wandering Spectator or @Midnighter2 and others that may do this kind of thing. I don't have the time as I have a rehearsal dinner tonight and the wedding Saturday night. I may try to take in a viewing of Chinatown between events.

2024 Olympic Team Trials previews - April 19 & 20

I’m hoping it’s Nolf but still think Dake wins it. I’m most interested to see how Mesenbrink does against this group of killers though

DelcoPanther was right KLS only getting looks from Akron, Bowling Green etc.

Just kidding Delco. Penn State wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith has scheduled his first two official visits, a source tells On3.

The fifth-year player led the Nittany Lions with 53 catches for 673 yards and four touchdowns in 2023. Texas A&M, Auburn, Colorado, Georgia, USC and West Virginia were among the teams who contacted the wide receiver. KeAndre Lambert-Smith, who is 6-foot-1 and 184 pounds, leaves a Penn State team looking to make the first edition of the 12-team College Football Playoff.

A source tells On3 that Lambert-Smith will visit Auburn from Thursday to Saturday. He will close out the weekend traveling to College Station, visiting Texas A&M from Saturday to Monday.

I guess he was not worth a little NIL $, since: Voila, over night, CJF says the receiver room is loaded with talent. I'm guessing he will get a little NIL love now. Just guessing.

Honestly, I think the passing game will thrive as long as Wallace and Evans stay healthy and develop and the backs play a more prominent role in the passing game. The TEs will do well, too.

No matter, I hope the double standard with NIL for transfers in vs HS recruits doesn't lose PSU some of these talented youngsters CJF is talking about. I kinda doubt that partial scholarships and minimal NIL vs NIL and full scholarships isn't gonna keep young talent in the fold very long. I hope I am wrong. We will find out in the fall and next spring. Onward....

Carter's FLO video.....

Apparently just went up. He talked some about the trials and the problems with trying to cut, trying to heal and to wrestle at a high level. What may be more interesting is that he now says that he's MORE LIKELY THAN NOT returning (he says 60/40 in favor of returning). He also mentions that Cael mentioned the possibility of him bumping to 197 for next year. Hmmmmmmm.......

Remember Gregg Doyel, the giant douche from CBS sports

Things aren't going to well for him right now. That's too bad.

To be honest, I find the whole thing to be weird, not necessarily creepy or sexist.
But hey, what goes around comes around.
