I’ll preface this and say that I like Allar and think he can be really good, BUT…if this is the offense we are running, he isn’t the QB for it.

The fumble is obviously on Allar but the play calling is atrocious. Another empty backfield on 3rd and short instead of Allen. Only 1 pass on 1st down all game.

The big runs have all come on the edge - PSU has to fix that, Defense gave up edge-containment too often.

It's a difference I see with the more athletic defenses we have now versus the old defenses of the JVP era when we had soccer players for defensive backs. We were very disciplined. Now we have people flying to the ball and leaving gaps.
