Should be interesting to watch on Flo Good preview of several weight classes, especially heavyweight. Does anyone know who is streaming the Midlands tournament?

I pay $4.99/month for ESPN+
Hey NoVa — have you had that subscription continuously for a while now? I usually get the monthly only during wrestling season and cancel each March . . . signed back up earier this month, and it looks like I’ll be paying $6.99 monthly.

I've kept it constantly for 3+ years now so maybe I am getting a better rate. I use it quite a bit so $5/month is well worth it.

You going to Detroit this season? Looks like it will be a great site, unlike the last time it was in Detroit when it was held in the Palace out in the middle of no where.

Ah, you’ve been buying and holding while I’ve been trading. But you’re older than me and have had more time to accumulate disposable wealth. 😉

Detroit not in the cards for me, I’m afraid. In fact, if you recall the potential trouble I was going to be in upon returning home from NYC in 2016 . . . well, let’s just say I was right, and that Kyle Snyder can’t hold a candle to my wife when it comes to Bringing Hell. I’ll be in Purgatory a while longer . . .

You make me feel very lucky. My wife of 44 years encourages me to travel to fish or watch wrestling as long as I return home happy. Makes me look forward to coming home and spoiling her. Great contest. No losers. When I watch wrestling at home she brings me some treats. Always wanted to join me when Bo, aka Noodle Arms, was wrestling. We have a great month of wrestling coming up. Hope PSU has a December to remember.

You’re welcome. Just doing my part to improve this nation.

Now you too??
Jeez, between you and Wildturd, this country sure is improving!!

Got home from work late — looks like Gardner-Webb vs NC State is indeed airing on ESPN+.

Going into HWT, NC St is up 42 to -1. Yep, that’s right, -1.

EDIT: It was close for a bit, but Wilson prevailed handily in the end. Final score 45 to -1. This seems worthy of a Minkel Award.

Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational gets underway at Noon EST today. A couple of previews available via Team USA and The Open Mat. Event covered by Flo.

Michigan, Ohio St, Nebraska, Cornell, and Minnesota among the notable teams sending guys . . . though I’ll note Cal Poly and Stanford, as well (think 165).

Sounds like Minnesota will not be sending everyone (no Steveson), and Michigan’s Big 3 (Micic, M. Amine, Parris) still holding out (I’m assuming until 2nd semester).

But 149 (Yianni, Sasso, Yahya, Abas, Lovett) and 165 (Wick, Griffith, Ramirez, C. Amine, Kharchla, Conigliaro) look to be shredders. Another competitive weight will be 197 (Woodley, Brucki, Buchanan, Schultz, Deprez, Sloan).

And at 157, can Robb be a giant slayer and deny Deakin his 3rd CKLV title? He’ll have to go through Monday first.

Should be a fun couple of days around the Penn dual, and leading up to Lehigh.

CKLV Rd 16:
- Ragusin over LaJoie 10-4 @ 133. Just mentioning this for anyone intrigued by the “which weight does Arujau go” question.

- Kanen Storr injury-defaulted in his match vs. Blockhus.

- At 174, the 14-seed Kemp (CalPoly) upset 3-seed Foca (Cornell), 3-2.

184s underway.

Looks like Foca lost to Cal Poly's Adam Kemp 3-2 in the round of 16.

AJ Nevills is with SDSU now, I forgot that--he has a winnable quarter against Nebby's Lance.

OK: Joke time. This is the actual FLO evaluation of the quarterfinal matchups at 141:
141: #8 Chad Red, Nebraska vs HM Dylan D’Emilio, Ohio State
Big Ten rivals who won't see each other in a dual meet, so perhaps a preview of a Big Ten Championship match.

What is wrong with what Flo said? They said "A" B10 championship match not "THE". B10 championship match. I get the Flo dislike in general but this is a reach.

My bad.......I always thought "Championship" match referred to the finals......and the rest are Big Ten Tournament matches. So there are Ten "THE B10 championship matches"? I guess I missed a memo :).

Still say Heinselman is one of the most over-rated wrestlers in the country based on his resume... he really doesn't have all that many great victories (i.e., AA caliber guys) and has tons of losses to quality opponents.

Would appear Meat is not wrestling most of their starters.
