Toward the end it could have been the way the refs have called stalling tonight. Have to call it both ways.
Amazing dual. Down a NCAA Champ + high to mid AA and STILL push Iowa's best team in over a decade to the brink @ home. RBY, Cenzo, and Brooks all win toss-ups and look great doing it.

I thought you guys wrestled really well against a more talented team (feels bizarre to say that after the last 10 years). Cael and co. had your boys ready to go. I thought Cenzo wrestled a great match. Marinelli was super reckless, but Cenzo was patient and waited until Marinelli tried to force a position that was less than 50/50 and just completely launched him.
Hall wrestled like he had or has the flu. Very weak effort.
I'm thinking the Cassar working to come back thing may be a misinterpretation by them. Didnt we hear he is working his way back to make an Olympic run, not an NCAA run?
As for tonight, strong team effort for the most part. I feel for Shak, it's clear he has no pop with his leg right now. Nights like this I try to channel my inner Cael and remember February doesnt count. It's all about March.

don't know if I agree. He had the first few scrambles and should have had points... Kem surprised him with a couple of strong shots when Mark was getting a little aggressive.
If we had anyone with a pulse at 149, 157 and 197 we would have blown their doors off. Iowa only has one killer at 125. No one else generates bonus points. Mark got caught tonight. I think he will be ready for the Tourney. I knew Joesph would crack the Bull. The Bull could do his usual and lose before he ever gets close to the finals. I pray Cassar can get back in time for the Tourney. I want to see what Cassar could do against Cassioppi???? I never thought 197 would be such hole for us this year! Need Berge back!! He would kill Young!!!!

Shak just doesn’t have any strength or good movement in the repaired knee. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s going to get much better over the next 5 to 6 weeks.
Give Kem credit. He outhustled and out wrestled Hall. Give Iowa credit. They were aggressive all night. PSU obviously has some holes at a few weights but they wrestled tough and had a chance

Disagree. Hall nearly hit a big move in the first period but Kemerer fought it off. Do agree that Hall was uncharacteristically sloppy a couple times, but it was a great performance by Kemerer.
We lost, no biggie. Mark, that was just unexplainable. Rasheed, wrestle or just give it up. Lee had a pin, Cenzo did not.
