Football GAMEDAY THREAD -- Penn State @ Maryland

I know it doesn't make the secondary performance better but Taulia is probably by far the best QB that Penn State has faced this season. Not sure he's going to be a starter at the NFL level but think he's going to stick around the league for quite a while.
Steelers ought to give him a look. He is better than Pickett.

Ideally Penn State gets a TD here since OU/OK State & UGa/Mizzou look like they're going to be important to watch late.

Suddenly being asked to confirm my reactions. What’s that about?

Much easier to throw when you're OL is permitted to hold on an every play basis. PSU leads the nation in sacks but I can't remember the last holding penalty called on b1g opponent OL.
Jeez Bushy….Maybe it would be easier for you to post when you find a play where you believe the other team should NOT be penalized. It would give you more time to study for the officials test.

3rd and 2 empty backfield
Hard to believe that is smart. Put Katron in and get the 2 yards. At this point I don't have faith in Singleton to get it as he just does not adjust as quick to the defenders in front of him and runs into the pile too often.

Remove the fade pass from the playbook. It is so low percentage and Allar continues to demonstrate that.

And bleed the clock.

Why is 43 in on D? Even up 24-7 he should never play D. Special teams only

Not Drew's fault there - that's completely on KLS. Drew threw it precisely where you're supposed to - opposite side that the DB is on - KLS looked over the wrong shoulder (his inside shoulder where DB was) and lost the ball. He looks over the correct shoulder, locates ball and fades toward it - easy catch.

Coaches need to tell the defense to keep playing when someone jumps offsides

Agreed except I won’t call it an easy catch. Need some off-season pass and catch.

Not saying it's Drew's fault, it's just a low percentage play especially for that situation.

Just too hard to catch a ball straight over your head. Lose too much speed trying to look back for it. Gotta play better angles!!!!

Singleton has not been playing well.
No idea why they call the plays they do.

That replay showed 3 separate MD OL literally tackling PSU defenders (the announcers were laughing about it, it was so ridiculous) - but let me guess, that's the first time they held all game??? LMFAO.
