It's November and he had off-season surgery. He'll get there in time for February.

It seems like PSU has a lot of guys getting some experience. This cannot look anything like their best line up. No Brooks? No Shak? No Berge? No Verk? What gives?

Edsell-Buckley
1st- Missed the first 2:00 due to laundry. Edsell gets a single and trips him up for 2. Buckley escapes. Buckley turns around and shoots him off, but I don't believe there was a stall call. 2-1 at the break.
2nd- Buckley takes bottom. Escapes. 2-2. Both guys pawing at each other. Edsell comes back into the legs, Buckley stops and front heads, but Edsell clears. Buckley looks throwby, Edsell squares. :30 left and still 2-2, RT not a factor. Buckley looking underhook, but nothing.
3rd- Edsell takes bottom. Goes quadpod stand-up and escapes. 3-2. Buckley gets right in on a right side single and high, but Edsell defends and kicks away. Edsell still engaging. 1:00 left. Buckley picking pace up. Edsell downblocking well. Edsell digs in hard. Buckley spamming the shot button, and Edsell warned with :30 left. Buckley gets in underneath and Edsell front heads. Edsell scoots behind for the icer. 5-2 end score. 29-0 Good Guys.

1st- This Navy cat got a long upperbody. Conel comes underneath and tries to finish out the back door but Navy ties up ankles. No score. Conel defends an attack and gets a bite on the hamstring, but no score out of the front head. Conel finishes a scramble out of a double for the initial score. Navy gets hand control and works up 2-1. Conel digs over/under hard but Navy backs out. Period ends.

I didn't expect Conel to win by anything more than decision today. He's a tournament wrestler who's been out of commission for over a year.
Bad news Conel isn't in good shape. Good news he has 2-3 months to work on that.
Cassar almost went into a leg lace after the second takedown. Freestyle muscle memory maybe?

1st- AC looks a weight class bigger than this guy. Couple of attack-re attacks but nobody gets through. BIG blast double and looking for more right off it and gets a quick tilt. 6-0 Cassar and they go OOB. Birchmeier gets an escape and it's 6-1. Again, Cassar pops a post to a double. Ends in an ankle lace. Looking like that was not an accident. 8-1. Navy flat and Cassar finishes the period on top.
