The tight O-formations are playing right into Illinois' strength at D-line - PSU is not matching up physically. The O game plan isn't working. Spread the field, hit some quick slants/outs, and open things (run) up. Imagine if this was a top 10 team instead of Illinois.

Hunter Nourzad pulled a very tough matchup today but against West Virginia and today against Illinois, he has not been great. Wonder if moving him back to guard could be in the cards if they trust Ioane or Dawkins at center.

If WVU and ILL are at this point tough matchups for Nourzad, imagine Iowa, OSU, Mich etc. Agreed. Move him to G.

They haven't been. They've seen plenty of 7 man fronts today and this season. Even on the last 2nd and 1 Singleton easily should have got the first down if he puts his head down and goes forward but didn't.

I want to see the pocket moved and maybe a bit more throws to the running back and tight ends. Why make Allar a pocket statue with #4 on the field when he can throw on the run? Illinois has been doing the same stuff on D and we haven't adjusted.
